Integrated Maths Modules

Thirty five modules now available on a range of secondary mathematics topics.

OTRNet are now publishing a series of classroom resources for learning secondary mathematics known as Integrated Maths Modules.  These innovative resources written by classroom teachers support constructivist learning in a student centred environment with students working cooperatively. They use an Exploration ► Formalisation ► Application learning cycle.

Cooking Up Times Tables

Cooking Up Times Tables is the first book in the Cooking Up Maths Series.

Written by Emma Tomkinson, Cooking Up Times Tables is a series of cooking activities designed to improve students' knowledge of times tables.  The book also has an activity designed to help students with multiplying and dividing by powers of ten.  This photocopiable book is useful for teachers or parents.

Working Mathematically

Dr Elena Stoyanova's books attempt to help teachers to bridge the gap between thinking curriculum and classroom practice.
